Allegion’s performance in 2025 reflects strong business results and our company’s unwavering commitment to fostering a values-based culture, building on our legacy of innovation, delivering and capturing recurring value for our customers and driving sustainability.
Throughout the year, Allegion continued to innovate with electronics and software while also strategically acquiring businesses whose solutions complement our offerings.

John H. Stone, President & CEO, Allegion plc
In 2025, Allegion continued to leverage mergers and acquisitions (M&A) as a central pillar of our growth strategy. Our balanced and disciplined approach to M&A prioritizes investments that leverage the Allegion demand generation model and distribution channel strength, while also expanding our portfolio with complementary mechanical and electronics products. The framework additionally prioritizes growing the Allegion portfolio with software and services that enhance and differentiate our core hardware offerings in security and access environments.
Key acquisitions during the year strengthened both existing geographic reach and product breadth. The April 2025 addition of Trimco, a leading North American manufacturer of high-performance and custom-designed door hardware, expanded Allegion’s accessories portfolio within non-residential Americas markets. Our existing go-to-market expertise and channel strength benefits the combined business, also broadening the range of high-quality hardware solutions available to our joint customer base.
The acquisition of ELATEC, a security and access technology manufacturer specializing in RFID credentials and readers solutions, in mid-2025 allowed Allegion to bolster our electronics portfolio globally, expanding our reach to new applications and customers.
“ELATEC is a leader in their field and a natural extension of our own reader and credential product lines with high-single digit to low-double digit growth consistent with Allegion’s financial profile in electronics,” Allegion President and CEO John H. Stone said. “This strategic acquisition builds on our legacy of innovation, market leadership and superior customer experiences and will result in added value for our shareholders.”
Gatewise, a software-as-a-service (SaaS) provider specializing in modern and retrofit-friendly gate entry systems for multifamily communities, was also integrated into Allegion’s 2025 portfolio. Gatewise’s solutions align seamlessly with Allegion’s electronic locks and Zentra multifamily property access solution, delivering enhanced perimeter security alongside unit and common area access control.
These strategic additions bring recurring value to customers and reinforce Allegion’s differentiation in quality mechanical and electronic hardware. By integrating innovative companies that share a commitment to safety, security and accessibility, we continue to build on our strengths while addressing a broader set of customer needs, ultimately creating greater value for end users across diverse markets. Allegion’s 2025 acquisitions also include: Brisant, Lemaar, Next Door Company, Novas, UAP Group Limited and Waitwhile.
Allegion’s commitment to environmental, social and governance (ESG) principles plays a vital role in our performance. Environmental stewardship is a key focus as we strive to minimize our ecological footprint through energy-efficient operations, sustainable product design and responsible sourcing. Socially, we are dedicated to supporting the communities where we live and work, as well as fostering inclusion and belonging for all within our organization. Strong governance practices help ensure that we operate with transparency and integrity, building trust with stakeholders and positioning Allegion as a responsible global citizen.

AXA Home Security has been on a journey to develop more responsible packaging, eliminating plastic and using only 100% biodegradable cardboard and solvent-free, 100% recyclable ink and glue. They won a 2025 VM Packaging Award in the Sustainable Design category for the updated packaging.
“The AXA Home Security packaging demonstrates that structural simplicity and sustainability can go hand-in-hand. In a segment that is highly functional and security-focused, this entry delivered a technically clever approach that is simultaneously robust, durable and practical. A single die-cut design is used for three different product variants — a solution that demonstrates efficiency and insight,” VM wrote about AXA’s winning entry. In 2025, Allegion’s manufacturing facilities in Clamecy, France and Zawiercie, Poland, went 100% carbon-free, helping us in our pursuit of long-term GHG reductions throughout our global footprint.
Two of Allegion’s major office locations near Indianapolis, Indiana, celebrated eliminating landfill waste, helping us improve our waste diversion rate. In addition, Allegion’s Technical Glass Products (TGP) registered FireLite® — a fire-rated glazing material — with an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD), an internationally recognized label that documents quantitative and third-party verified environmental data from raw material procurement to shipment. The EPD can also help projects acquire credits toward various certifications and rating systems for environmentally safe and sustainable structures. Read more about TGP’s EPDs.

Our ongoing commitment to engagement was recognized once again in 2025 as we earned the prestigious Gallup Exceptional Workplace Award for the second consecutive year. In 2025, this recognition expands beyond engagement alone to also honor our organizational strengths, highlighting the progress we’ve made in cultivating a thriving and resilient workplace. Our 93% participation rate in the 2025 Employee Engagement Survey by Gallup reflects the deep connection and commitment our people have to Allegion’s culture and mission.
Building on insights from our five culture study sites in 2025, where five locations saw positive growth in engagement scores, we continue to invest in targeted initiatives that drive meaningful change. The Accelerating Allegion Engagement Program remains a key part of this work — with 73% of participants reporting increased engagement scores, demonstrating the program’s impact in equipping managers with the tools and resources to enhance team dynamics and foster a culture of partnership, accountability and growth. At Allegion, our core values guide every decision, shape our culture and define how we interact with customers, employees and communities. These principles inspire us daily to make a positive impact and drive our shared success.
Guided by Allegion’s core value, “Serve others, not yourself,” service is at the heart of Allegion’s culture. In 2025, employees around the world supported local organizations and initiatives through donations, engagement and countless volunteer hours. Whether donating products, distributing meals or building homes, Allegion’s teams met the needs of their communities both through company-led programs and grassroots efforts by individuals. We empower employees to identify local needs and make a difference where they live, learn, work and connect. Read more about Allegion’s service in 2025.
While we serve our communities through several programs across the globe, one organization holds a special place in our hearts: Habitat for Humanity, where we help build safe, secure homes. Each year, Allegion employees dedicate resources and volunteer hours to support local Habitat chapters. Learn more about our partnerships below.
For 17 years, Allegion has partnered with Greater Indy Habitat for Humanity to serve the Indianapolis community near our Americas headquarters in Carmel, Indiana. Since 2009, Allegion has contributed $1.9 million, volunteered approximately 26,091 hours and donated $387,088 worth of products to the Habitat ReStore, supporting the construction of 479 homes and counting in the Greater Indianapolis area.
In 2025, Allegion completed our 11th panel build in the Allegion parking lot, helping complete our 17th home with Greater Indy Habitat. This year was especially exciting with the launch of Devon Creek, Greater Indy Habitat’s first full-scale subdivision development in Marion County in 25 years. Allegion proudly serves as the future builder sponsor for this project, which will provide 10 affordable homes to first-time homebuyers — addressing the critical shortage of affordable housing. Learn more about this initiative here.
Our teams also took part in other Greater Indy home builds throughout the year, including an August 2025 project where our Zentra team helped build a home for a local family.
Beyond Greater Indianapolis, Allegion Americas is in a $1 million partnership with Habitat for Humanity Mexico through 2027. Since 2016, our facilities in Tijuana, Tecate and Ensenada, Mexico, have donated more than $800,000, completing 40 new houses and 31 construction improvement projects for families, with an additional 10 new projects in the works. In April 2025, Allegion’s Ensenada team had the special opportunity to help build a colleague’s home in Ensenada. Together, they poured more than 50 square meters of concrete.
Allegion Australia proudly supports Habitat for Humanity Australia through donations and volunteer hours. In 2025, employees participated in the Brush With Kindness program — an initiative aimed at assisting homeowners who struggle to maintain the exterior of their homes, ensuring families live in safe and well-maintained homes.
In addition to our larger partnerships, Allegion teams worldwide volunteer with local Habitat for Humanity chapters year-round.
In manufacturing, Allegion’s performance is defined by operational excellence and a dedication to quality. We leverage advanced technologies, lean processes and a commitment to safety to produce reliable, high-performing products that meet the diverse needs of customers and end users. Our global footprint allows us to operate efficiently while maintaining the flexibility to adapt to changing market demands. As a modern manufacturer during a time of rapid change and growth in the industry, it’s more important than ever to showcase how safety, innovation and technology are at the heart of Allegion’s workplace culture.
In 2025, Allegion significantly advanced its manufacturing capabilities through a series of strategic capital investments across the globe focused on digitalization, modernization and operational excellence. Eight of Allegion’s North American manufacturing facilities implemented major initiatives integrating robotics, automate assembly systems and advanced equipment upgrades to enhance product quality, increase production capacity and improve safety. Projects include a new manufacturing execution system, new computer numerical control (CNC) machines, a new door line, flexible manufacturing cells, machine vision and an autonomous material delivery solution, to name just a few.
We also made meaningful investments across our European and Asia-Pacific footprints to enhance our competitive edge. By integrating advanced robotic assembly and automated machining centers in the Netherlands, Germany, France, Italy and Australia, we are producing high-precision security solutions with greater repeatability and efficiency. One of our German facilities expanded its automation capabilities for electronic cylinders while our Australia business has installed assembly lines with automated testing and set up for next-generation electronic locks, further solidifying our leadership in the digital security space. We have deployed manufacturing execution systems in multiple facilities to enhance production control, quality and traceability, equipment utilization and customer service levels.
These ongoing investments — with additional projects scheduled through 2027 — ensure our production remains agile and efficient.
To support these recent investments and others, Allegion is committed to inspiring the next generation of manufacturers through education and our involvement with Manufacturing Month each October. Since 2015, Allegion has been celebrating annually with virtual and in-person events across our U.S. manufacturing facilities, opening our doors to students, teachers, media and community and government leaders to showcase the innovative jobs and career opportunities our company has to offer. In 2025, four of our facilities held successful Manufacturing Day events, and while each event looked a little bit different, the goals remain the same: To dispel myths that make it difficult to attract skilled workers, to encourage young people to consider manufacturing careers and to strengthen our relationship with our communities so they understand who we are as an employer.
