Connectivity Standards Alliance Aliro 1.0

The Connectivity Standards Alliance (the Alliance) officially released the Aliro 1.0 specification, a revolutionary new standardized mobile credential and device-to-reader protocol. Regardless of manufacturer or platform, Aliro provides a standardized way for smart locks and readers to communicate with smartphones, wearables and other user devices. Aliro is built for several use cases, including commercial, residential and multifamily. As a Promoter Member of the Alliance, Allegion played a leading role in driving the development of the standard. Now, Allegion is expected to be among the first to achieve the Aliro 1.0 certification.
