Allegion recognized for communications and thought leadership

DUBLIN (Aug. 22, 2017) – Allegion’s leadership has been recognized by outside experts and third parties, with the company receiving several awards and commendations in recent months for its enterprise-wide communications and thought leadership.

These awards are further validation that Allegion’s strategic focus, values-driven culture and intentional emphasis on employee engagement are on the right path.

For excellence in communications and creative design:

  • “Corporate Communications Achievement of the Year,” by the 9th Annual 2017 Golden Bridge Business and Innovation Awards. Gold-level went to the Allegion annual report for innovation in its form and function that expanded audience reach and engagement (August 2017).
  • “Intranet Gold Level,” by the Hermes Creative Award. Awarded for the Grid 2.0 (relaunch of the global employee intranet), which demonstrated significant improvement in views and engagement (April 2017).
  • “Marketing Materials Gold Level,” by the Hermes Creative Award for the design of the Allegion Corporate Brochure, which uses a modular folder to demonstrate its expertise and highlight its product brands (April 2017). This brochure was developed in conjunction with Matchbook Creative.
  • “Corporate Image Gold Award,” by the Hermes Creative Award for the video “Allegion by the Numbers,” a companion piece to the annual report and brochure that highlights the company’s key metrics in an engaging animated infographic (April 2017). This video was developed in conjunction with Matchbook Creative.

For thought leadership:

  • “Most Influential People of the Year in Business, Bronze Level” was awarded to Allegion Futurist Rob Martens by the 9th Annual 2017 Golden Bridge Business and Innovation Awards. The award was for his work in thought leadership in technology innovation and the IoT, influencing both the company and its industry (August 2017).

In addition, Allegion product brands and facilities have been recognized in recent months, including design and branding awards for AXA (Netherlands), SimonsVoss (Germany), Schlage, and the “2017 Manufacturing Leadership Award” for Allegion Americas’ Princeton (U.S.) facility.
