Supply Chain Leadership Program (SCLP)

The Supply Chain Leadership Program (SCLP) is designed to provide opportunities for business impact and exposure to a variety of roles within manufacturing. The purpose of this program is to accelerate early talent career growth and to develop functional, technical and leadership skills for future leaders.

As a SCLP participant, you will complete a two year rotational program that begins in May. The program consists of four rotational assignments, three of which are in a functional area and one is in operations supervision. Determining factors of assignments include the participants’ career aspirations and business needs. 

Upon completion of the last rotational program, you will be placed in a full time role based on a combination of individual preference and business need. Positions may include areas such as the ones listed above. 

During this program you will engage in the following:  

  • Annual retreat in Carmel, IN 

  • Build an effective individual development plan 

  • Strengthen learning in core competencies

  • Mentor assignment for coaching & guidance 


Requirements of the program include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Management or Industrial Distribution 

  • Graduation must occur prior to the program’s start in May OR

  • Qualifying education must have been obtained within the past 3 years

  • Minimum 3.0 on 4.0 grade point average scale 

  • Demonstrated leadership ability and initiative preferred (examples would include school club officer, sports team captain, resident advisor or exceptional leadership on class projects)

  • Relevant internship experience required

  • Geographic mobility (rotational program locations vary by business needs)

Throughout the program, participants will develop functional, technical, and leadership skills for future leaders. During your time you will learn from experienced professionals that make it their goal to accelerate early talent career growth.
