Product Development Rotational Program

The Product Management Rotational Program is a two-year rotational training and development program providing opportunities to gain knowledge, experience, leadership and strategic thinking skills in product management by partnering and learning from Allegion product leaders and executives. This program is designed to identify and place high potential graduates and early professionals into challenging rotations that prepare them for future career growth.



  • Complete rotations in Allegion’s consumer and institutional product categories with a focus on both electronics and mechanical products.
  • Lead and participate on projects that directly impact the business in areas such as quality, competitive benchmarking, productivity, product roadmaps, and positioning. 
  • Develop an understanding of the organizational structure and build cross-functional relationships with colleagues throughout the organization.
  • Network with professionals from various disciplines across the organization to enhance teamwork, collaboration, communication, problem solving, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Maintain awareness of all Allegion policies, guidelines, and procedures and ensure compliance.


  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Supply Chain Mgmt., or Industrial Mgmt.
  • Graduation must occur by May of cohort year OR qualifying education must have been obtained within the past 3 years.
  • Minimum 3.0 on 4.0 grade point average scale.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability and initiative (school club officer, sports team captain, resident advisor, etc. or exceptional leadership on work projects).
  • Relevant internship experience required.
  • Proficient with MS Office tools.
  • Ability to learn industry specific software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, influencing skills are essential.
  • Ability to travel up to 20%.
  • Geographic mobility anywhere in the US (rotational program locations across the US may vary by business needs).
