“Do the right thing” isn’t just a corporate value at Allegion – it’s a way of life. From charitable donations and volunteering in our communities to inclusion and diversity and working to protect both our environment and our people, we put this principle into practice daily.
At Allegion, our executives as well as a global COVID-19 response team closely monitor the most recent developments related to the current COVID-19 pandemic. We are implementing and adhering to best-practice safety measures in line with guidelines from global, national and local health authorities (including the World Health Organization and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention). Since January 2020, these measures have included continual employee education on safe hygiene practices and requiring anyone who is ill or feeling unwell to stay home. We have also enacted extensive measures at our sites: Working closely with local health officials; increasing supplies of personal protective equipment like gloves and masks; conducting ongoing disinfecting and extra deep cleaning; restricting travel and visitors; and updating schedules and work spaces to provide appropriate social distancing. Those who can work from home are encouraged to do so. We will continue to adapt and take appropriate measures as more becomes known about the novel coronavirus..
Allegion is managed under a corporate governance framework and guided by Corporate Governance Guidelines that ensure we operate within applicable legal statutes and New York Stock Exchange requirements, and consistent with ethical global business standards.
