Todd Graves is senior vice president, engineering and technology for Allegion.
In this role, Todd is responsible for driving both product and process innovation across Allegion’s global business. He held a similar role for the Security Technologies division of Ingersoll Rand.
Before joining Ingersoll Rand in 2012, he served as vice president of engineering for ClearEdge Power, a cutting-edge manufacturer of fuel cells for stationary applications. Prior to that, Todd was division vice president of Unmanned Aircraft Systems engineering at AAI Corporation, an operating unit of Textron Systems, a Textron Inc. company. During his tenure there, Todd led a team comprised of diverse engineering skills including software, systems, aerospace, mechanical and electrical, as well as technicians and flight crew.
Earlier, Todd held a variety of positions at the General Electric Company in an engineering leadership capacity. He started at GE as a design engineer in the company’s Appliances business where he worked on the microwave oven and air conditioning product lines. In this role, Todd developed the Advantium oven, later becoming a master black belt and the technology manager of the global products engineering team.
Subsequently, at GE’s Global Research Center, Todd managed a research and development portfolio for three GE businesses. In his final role at GE, Todd led engineering for the video surveillance, intrusion detection, and real estate products at GE Security.
Todd began his career as a U.S. Air Force officer working on turbine engine technologies and the global positioning system (GPS).
He received bachelor’s and master’s degrees in aerospace engineering from the University of Notre Dame.
